Board of Directors

The Family Partnerships of Central Florida board of directors are all volunteers who selflessly give their time and resources to support and further develop our system of care and carry the message of our mission throughout the community.

Eric Austin, Board Chair

Eric is a native of Melbourne, Florida, where he currently resides with his wife. He graduated from Melbourne High School in 2000 and he began working as a police officer for the Cocoa Police Department in 2001. As the support services commander, he oversaw the criminal investigations division, communications center, records section, finance and budget, accreditation, training, recruiting and hiring, field training and evaluation program, policy development, and code enforcement. Over the years, he served as a patrol officer, school resource officer, detective, sergeant, community relations sergeant, and lieutenant over professional compliance and internal affairs. He continues to serve as a reserve police officer. Eric transitioned to Discover Life Church and Parkhurst Academy full-time in July 2017. He currently serves as the Executive Pastor and CFO of Discover Life Church and President and Superintendent of Parkhurst Academy, a K4-12 private school. He oversees the operations and finances of both organizations. He is also an adjunct instructor for Eastern Florida State College and Daytona State College. Eric earned his AA degree from Eastern Florida State College, formerly Brevard Community College. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, and he completed the Honors in the Major Program at Burnett Honors College. He is finishing his Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. He holds positions on multiple non-profit boards, including AMIkids Space Coast, Renewed Counseling, and Cocoa Community First. The majority of boards he serves on support programs for children. Eric has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Habitat for Humanity, several humanitarian mission trips to South America, Europe, Asia, and other non-profits striving to help children and families in the community. His passions include advocating for child victims, mentoring at-risk children, and assisting families to overcome adversity.

David Hill, Board Treasurer

David, originally from South Miami, has lived in Florida his entire life. He has called Brevard County home since 1998. He is a devoted father of two daughters, both in college. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors where he can be found hiking, kayaking, and fishing. He takes great pride in volunteering his time with organizations that truly help people. David holds degrees in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering as well as a MBA with a concentration in Project Management. Forever grateful for the mentors he had and the opportunities he was given, he remains committed to paying it forward, mentoring others and helping them succeed. David currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Community Credit Union of Florida, a Brevard County based not-for-profit financial institution. A driven business professional with exceptional leadership and project management skills, a true team player with a demonstrated ability to work with others to achieve a common goal.

Dan Rodgers, Director

Mr. Rodgers is retired from the United States Air Force, and as the Chief Probation Officer from the Department of Juvenile Justice in Circuit 18. Prior to his service at DJJ, he was a foster care counselor working with teenage youth in foster care placements. Rodgers was appointed as the Board Chair of the Family Partnerships of Central Florida Governance Board of Directors in April 2023 after serving three years as a community member.  He has served in many capacities on multiple governance board committees since his appointment as Chairman of the Brevard Cares Advisory Board of Directors in June of 2018 after serving as a community member for a year.  

Bishop Merton Clark, Director

Bishop Clark is a published author and the founder and senior pastor of Truth Revealed International Ministries, a global ministry dedicated to locating the unchurched, teaching, training, and developing them to be Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. A native of Titusville, FL, he studied at Brevard Christian University, earned a Master in Christian Counseling, and was also honored with a Doctor of Philosophy. Bishop Clark has been fully committed to changing lives by reforming minds to transform communities and advance the Kingdom for almost three decades. As Chief Executive Officer of HELPS Community Initiatives, he is dedicated to healing every life with purpose and support. Bishop, affectionately called a modern-day prophet, is a leader of leaders who walks in the total unfolding of God for his ministry. He uses various strategies, approaches, and resources to reach and equip as many people as possible to achieve the goal of a local presence with global impact. Bishop Clark serves as co-president of Brevard Justice Ministry and the chaplain for the City of Palm Bay Fire and Police Department. His radio program, the Word of Truth Revealed with Bishop Merton Clark, is heard daily on several radio outlets and online. He is married to Sebrena, his wife and ministry partner of more than twenty-eight years. They are the proud parents of two, Omar and Megan, and grandparents to one, Isaiah.

Stephanie Larkin, Director

Stephanie is a native Floridian who moved to Brevard County in 2007. She is currently the Community Access Manager at Hospice of Health First and Retail Services. Stephanie started her career in Melbourne as an Executive Assistant at Brevard Family Partnership where she spent the next seven years working with the talented team at BFP. Over time, her passion and interest in marketing and communications grew, and she took the position of Public Relations Coordinator, where she managed social media, community events, fundraisers and marketing efforts for BFP and the Family of Agencies. In 2015, she transitioned into her career at Health First as a Sr. Marketing & Communications Specialist, using her skills to help Health First service lines achieve business goals and increase community awareness of programs and services. In this role, she also served as a member of the Media Team and assisted with crisis communications and weekends on-call for media inquiries. Aside from her career aspirations, her greatest passion is being a mom to her 8-year-old son, Greyson. On weekends you can find them riding bikes, feeding the giraffes at the zoo, visiting Sea World or playing with their two dogs, Layla and Miri. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Development. She recently completed her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

Sean Kostelnik, Director

Sean is the owner of Wood River Studio. He believes it is the duty of a healthy society to promote and protect the wellbeing of children. He recognizes the legacy of a generation lives in a future owned by the youth, and it takes community to ensure its viability. Sean joins Brevard Family Partnership to be active in this effort.”

Jennifer Muntz, Director

Jennifer Muntz brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of compassion to Brevard Family Partnership. With a deep-rooted passion for helping people and inspiring children, Jennifer’s journey is a testament to her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Her background includes valuable work in group homes, with children and families in foster care, individuals with developmental delays and mental illness, and those in hospice care.

Having been enchanted by the allure of the Space Coast since her childhood, Jennifer made the life-changing decision to relocate to this vibrant community in 2016, accompanied by her daughter. Jennifer’s journey towards community service led her to become a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Brevard County in 2019, where she dedicated herself to advocating for the welfare of children in the foster care system. Her involvement with Lead Brevard further expanded her understanding of the complex social issues facing Brevard County. Jennifer’s community action project with Ways for Life, exemplifies her commitment to helping teens who have aged out of foster care overcome transportation barriers, enabling them access to life activities, like working.

Beyond her community board member role, Jennifer is a seasoned family business consultant, specializing in family education and fostering unity and cohesion within multi-generational business families. Her additional work with the National Space Society at Kennedy Space Center reflects her enduring love for the Space Coast’s culture and aspirations. Jennifer exemplifies the spirit of service and dedication, serving as an inspiration to us all as we strive to create a brighter future for our community.
