Family Partnerships Releases Annual Report for FY 2024-2025

Rockledge, FL – October 2, 2025 – Family Partnerships of Central Florida (FPOCF) has issued its annual impact report for fiscal year 2024-2025, which highlights the nonprofit’s first year of support of foster-parenting, child-abuse prevention, adoption, and independent living services for youth in four Central Florida counties, including Brevard, Osceola, Seminole and Orange. The report is downloadable here: www.fpocf.org/resourses-and-reports/annual-reports/

FPOCF President and CEO Phil Scarpelli said the results were exceptional, noting the continued delivery of innovative and caring family reunification services will strengthen Florida families for generations. “Child-welfare work has never been more important in our state,” he said. “Florida continues to grow tremendously – that means more children potentially needing assistance with safe homes and loving families. Last year, the FPOCF team met that challenge in a big way, protecting children, strengthening families and changing lives across our region.”

FPOCF is the lead community-based care agency for Central Florida, working with more than 80 other nonprofits in Florida for child-welfare services. Notable in the report were 9,459 people supported in the four counties with prevention and diversion programs, along with 493 family reunifications.

“We know that in many cases, families who are experiencing hardships or difficult times just need temporary assistance,” added Scarpelli. “Once we ensure there’s a safe and loving home for children in the home, we work with families to provide the resources and training for parents to build nurturing and supportive environments. Stronger families give us stronger communities and that’s our ultimate goal.”
