About the Host

President & CEO, and Host of the Family Partnerships Podcast

Phil Scarpelli is the president and CEO of Family Partnerships of Central Florida, where he brings 35 years of dedicated experience in behavioral healthcare and child welfare. He also serves as the public face of the Family Partnerships Podcast. As a true servant leader, Phil is committed to fostering a culture of innovation, transparency, and trust within the child welfare community.

Phil’s professional journey in Florida’s child welfare system began with the privatization efforts in the late 1990s, where he focused on leadership development for the Department of Children and Families. After serving as State Director for Key Assets Florida Inc., he joined the predecessor organization, Brevard Family Partnership, in 2018.

In May 2024, Phil spearheaded a significant expansion of the organization to serve four Central Florida counties (Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole) and two judicial circuits (Circuit 9 and Circuit 18). This expansion led to the rebranding effort to Family Partnerships of Central Florida. He aims to challenge the status quo through the podcast and share insights that protect children, strengthen families, and change lives.
