Each year, for the past 13, Health First has given back to the community in a big way, providing children annually with Christmas gifts. Over that timeframe, the support has assisted more than 2,500 children in the community through giving campaigns with Family Partnerships and South Brevard Sharing Center.
At a holiday shopping event held at the Viera Target Dec. 2, Health First employees and their executive team members, including President and CEO Terry Forde, shopped and fulfilled wish lists for 100 foster children served by Family Partnerships.
“We’re honored to partner with Family Partnerships of Central Florida – an organization deeply committed to protecting children and strengthening families with compassion and care,” said Forde.
FPOCF’s President and CEO Phil Scarpelli also thanked gathered volunteers for demonstrating their compassionate support for children, noting that Health First’s longtime partnership is invaluable in helping strengthen Central Florida families and communities.
“Our efforts ultimately seek to break the cycle of abuse and neglect for the most vulnerable children,” said Scarpelli. “Ensuring area children are blessed with loving Christmas holidays goes a long way in providing the support needed for families to heal.”
