Make a Difference in a Child’s Life

Volunteer

Family Partnerships of Central Florida is proud to have a team of volunteers who are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for the children and families we serve. Volunteers support all areas of our organization, including direct support of our foster families and children, community outreach and events, and administrative tasks. Volunteer opportunities are both on-site throughout our county and remote projects.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Must participate in Family Partnerships of Central Florida’s Level 2 FBI background screening, which includes checks of local, state and federal law enforcement databases and the National Sex Offender Registry, as well as fingerprinting and drug screening.

Ready to get started? Submit your volunteer application.

Questions? Email Katelyn.Stafford@brevardfp.org, our volunteer coordinator.

Internship

We also offer non-paid internships to students currently enrolled in college. Interns must be at least 21 years old.

To apply, please send a letter of interest and resume to Katelyn.Stafford@brevardfp.org.

All applications must be submitted at least 90 days prior to anticipated start date.

Mentor

Guide and support our youth to build a relationship that lasts a lifetime. If you are interested in being that caring adult, consider mentoring a young person within our system of care or and older teen preparing to age out. Contact Amber Barrett, assistant director of Youth Services, at Amber.Barrett@fpocf.org for more information.

Faith and Community Partnerships

In addition to volunteering, there are many ways our faith and community partners can help.

Questions? E-mail Laurie-Anna.DeGennaro@brevardfp.org.
