Adoption
Adoption is permanent. It means a child has a forever family that will be there for them through the good times and the challenges. The adoption process makes the child a legal member of the adoptive family, with all the rights and privileges of a biological child. Adoption gives children the love and security they deserve.
Foster Care
Children in our community need a safe, loving, temporary place to call home while their family situation stabilizes. Family Partnerships of Central Florida manages foster care services for children and youth in Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties who have been removed from their homes. If you want to make a difference in your community and in the life of a child, become a foster parent.
Make an Impact
You can make a difference in the life of a child today. Here’s how: donate and volunteer. Consider joining our mission to protect children, strengthen families and change lives. By partnering with Family Partnerships of Central Florida, you’ll foster hope for thousands of children in Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
We have been fostering for almost eight years. What we find helpful is to try to connect with fellow foster families. Leaning on one another makes life easier than feeling you are going through the struggles alone. Several life situations will happen. It is OK not to know how to handle all scenarios. Foster care is a journey, and like anything else, you gain experience as you go along.

Maitland office closed until further notice
During Hurricane Milton, our Maitland administrative center sustained significant water damage due to roof repairs in progress. As a result, those offices are closed to our staff and the public until further notice. Any meetings taking place there (901 North Lake Destiny Road, Suite 400, Maitland) will be held virtually, moved to another location or postponed. Participants will be notified of any changes. Despite the that temporary closure, we are fully operational in all four counties. For assistance, please contact us.
Volunteers donate backpacks filled with items kids need
Dozens of backpacks filled with hygiene products and new pajamas will be donated to foster kids in Brevard, Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties through Family Partnerships of Central Florida. It’s a collaborative effort between Closet Factory, which donated 250 backpacks and luggage tags, and Comfort Cases, which donated the supplies that go inside. News 6 shares how the partnership came about and the difference it will make to Central Florida kids experiencing foster care.Â

Phil Scarpelli, president and CEO of Family Partnerships of Central Florida, recently hosted a roundtable discussion in his home with several youth and members of our Brevard Youth Leadership Council.
The video took place in partnership with Dr. Angela Oliver-Burgess, president and founder of Smile for Budgie. This opportunity allowed our youth a chance to share what matters most to them. We are so proud and grateful that they took the time to join this discussion.
